hey hey — welcome :)

i’m sam, the friend who's always taking pictures and videos. as a kid, i used to steal my siblings’ cameras and take overexposed, muggy photos, and i’ve been hooked ever since.

now i'm a senior at vanderbilt (go 'dores!) and started shooting since high school. these days i do grad portraits, editorials, and capture those in-between moments. soft smiles, quiet pauses, the stuff that feels real.

if im not behind a camera, im logging movies on Letterboxd, watching Women’s Basketbal, touching grass, DJing, or playing fortnite (no build obvi).

this past summer i was a strategy intern at Ogilvy Health, a prominent name in health advertising. i got into advertising because i’m passionate about using storytelling and visual language to spark connection, challenge assumptions, and bring a sense of care into advertising and creative spaces.
